WE-Mentorship Club (WMC) is a nonprofit mentorship outfit that provides young Nigerian women who are intentional about academic and career growth with near-peer mentorship solutions offered by seasoned Nigerian professionals from different parts of the world.
At WMC, we understand that the challenges Nigerian women face to thrive in academics and careers are nuanced and different from those of their counterparts. To help dedicated young women excel, we match them to professionals in their fields who are also Nigerian women and who, through training, dedication and hard work, have walked their paths up the corporate ladder and have a clearer understanding of how to ford towards success. In short, we provide mentorship for women by women.
In addition to having the epaulette of experience on their shoulders, our mentors who live and work from all around the world have the gold braids of travel, which has exposed them to global industry-best practices with which they enrich their assigned mentees for the period of each mentorship session.
Here, the pursuit of progress is our collective and singular goal. We hope to raise committed, trustworthy and capable women of timber and calibre who can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their contemporaries anywhere in the world.
